    After the reports in the press about the increase in the number of cases in the west country of the Schmallenberg virus, should we be worried. As usual, I am sure the Government is keeping things under wraps and not telling us the full story, just like with the foot and mouth and the mad sow disease incidents.   • Smokers refused IVF in Devon - Agree or Disagree?

    At last, it is about time someone stood up to smokers and the damage they do to everyone. They are just a selfish bunch of wasters. If they can't give up the fags for a few months so they hopefully have a child and we can spend our tax money on them then they should be ashamed of themselves and not be entitled to the treatment. Even if they did, they should be monitored afterwards, if they were successful, that they are not smoking in the house or near the new born child. Well done the Penins

  • Torquay nightlife better than London

    Took a trip to London recently and stayed a coupled of nights. The nightlife was good but ridiculous prices spoil a night out up there. Otherwise, it would probably have been classed as great. In summary, I think the nightlife in Torquay, pound for pound, is much better.
